Norma Lois Donohoo, 97, died Saturday, January 22, 2011 under the care of Hospice at Spanish Oaks Retreat.

Mrs. Donohoo was born in St. Louis, MO on November 20, 1913, the daughter of the late Gus Adolphus and Nellie Knobelock Stegmann. Norma was a longtime resident of Skidaway Island. She was an avid bridge player and was a member of many bridge clubs at her former home in Connecticut and continued when she and her late husband retired to The Landings. Norma was a member of St. John's Church.

Mrs. Donohoo was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, H.V.W. Donohoo and her daughter-in-law, Debbie Ruth Donohoo. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Michael O. Donohoo and wife Susan of Rowland Heights, CA and Van Brian Donohoo of Houston, TX; sister, Grace Carr of Clarinda, IA; grandchildren, Jennifer Walker and husband Ken of Waco, TX, Shawn Donohoo and wife Tracey of Conroe, TX, Andrew Donohoo of Houston, TX, Megan Donohoo of Omaha, NE, Michelle Hsia of New Jersey and five great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service was held at the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to any charity of choice.
